The Wolverine review

The movie plain sucks. That's the shortest way to tell it as it is.

I mean, yeah well, Huge Jackman's acting is incredible and some of the Japanese peeps are too but their performance can never hide the fact that the whole movie has NO whatsoever meaning. The story line sucks and is all over the place (like jumping around and stuff) - it's just meaningless and confusing (especially the ending), IMHO. The action part is okay. Though I guess it might be a tall order to get a few more mutants into the story line (after the whole story line gets a proper remake).

If you're looking for logical, you can just forget about it in this movie - coz well, first of all, it's mutants and stuff; second, the logic in the story is just made-up... for example, if Yoshida actually was present during the Nagasaki atomic-bombing - 1. he won't be able to live to an old age considering that he's THAT close to the bombing and plus he was out in the open air, practically immersed in the fallout, 2. he will probably die of cancer in like 5 years at most, 3. even if he survived to that old an age, he's highly likely sterile due to extensive radiation exposure and will never have a son with a granddaughter (unless he adopts them).... etc; and thirdly, wtf is Logan sleeping with a girl so much younger than him - she looks like 20 at most and he's supposed to be immortal = hundreds of years old (okay I might be exaggerating).

Sigh, I'm very disappointed with this movie. The previous Wolverine movie is way WAY better than this one.

But well, if you plan to go to the movies for this anyways, just a note, don't go out from the cinema so quickly after the movie... there's a small snippet that will be played after a little bit of the credits that indicates the producer planned on a Wolverine sequel or a link to the next X-men movie.
